With the new Hybrid Camry,  we've produced a car that you and your passengers can feel genuinely safer in.  By utilising the most advanced active safety technology  ever offered in an Australian built vehicle, it not only helps protect you in the unlikely event of an accident, but can actually help you avoide them in the first place.
This safety comes from the Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system.  A Toyota first, VDIM monitors your driving and then instinctively integrates the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Traction Control (TRC) systems.  These systems work together to ensure a prompt response from all on-board safety technologies.  Inside the cabin, a full complement of six SRS airbags - dual stage driver and front passenger airbags, two front-seat side airbags and two full-length side curtain airbags - shield occupants in the event of an emergency.
