The way in which I was received/treated at Hinterland Toyota I could not fault.
If anything I was pleasantly surprised how easy it all was, and how friendly everyone was.
At no stage during the purchasing process did I feel uncomfortable.
I have spent a number of years living/working in Japan.
And until making the decision to change career paths into nursing, my entire working life has been working for either the Japanese Government or Japanese companies.
Needless to say, I am well acquainted with Japanese culture/customs.
Upon return to Australia, the calibre of customer service in this country, or more specifically lack of, is something that astounded me.
Granted that some feel the Japanese go over board with their CS, I felt that Australia was the extreme opposite.
Even the Americans do a better job (although totally fake).
Walking into Hinterland Toyota was a totally enjoyable experience for me, and a nice surprise to see a level of CS on par with the Japanese adapted for this country and our culture.
All the consultants I came into contact with were friendly, without being too laid back, and polite, without being standoffish/pompous.
Everyone was more than willing to accommodate me and my requests, indeed nothing was a bother.
I was treated with respect and professionalism.
What more can I say?
My Expectations were Exceeded
I had a huge list of requests and questions to ask and before the service, so I wrote them down on a piece of paper and I was hoping to get at least 50% of them answered and done.To my surprise your servicemen Peter did an excellent job and resolved them all, like he's been taking care of his own car and not some customer's, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.Usually you don't expect much from car dealerships as they either charge you a lot and don't really care about you however I was quite amazed to receive such excellent treatment.Keep up the good work guys, I'm quite impressed and looking forward to my 30000kms service!

He was friendly and NOT pushy. Good knowledge of the car we purchased and he called me after the purchase to see how the car was going and if we were satisfied with it. I will definitely deal with Brad from Hinterland again. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Chris was courteous, friendly but still very professional; he followed my enquiry up but was not too pushy. He was efficient and at the same time patient and he helped make the whole experience a pleasure rather than a stress. My partner has a RAV and will be looking for a new one in about 12 months' time and I hope he will be around to help her out then.
