Motor Vehicle Insurance
We understand that your vehicle is a critical part of your life, so we offer reliable and affordable protection in case the unexpected happens.
You can choose to insure your vehicle for its agreed value or market value, whichever you prefer.
Toyota Insurance's Comprehensive Motor Vehicle policy includes cover for accidental loss, damage and liability for property damage, providing peace of mind with convenient and hassle free protection in case the unexpected happens.
Motor Vehicle Insurance may be purchased at any time. You can switch and enjoy the features and benefits offered by Toyota Insurance, and even carry over your no claims bonus protection from a previous insurer.+
For your convenience, you can choose to pay in any of the following ways:

Factory Approved Warranty Insurance
As a Toyota vehicle owner you can protect yourself once your Hinterland Toyota warranty and Toyota new vehicle warranty ends.
So long as your Toyota vehicle is still within its original 36 month warranty and has travelled less than 90,000km, you are eligible to enjoy the benefits that a Toyota Insurance Factory Approved Extended Warranty has to offer.+
The Toyota Insurance Factory Approved Extended Warranty policy provides cover for the repair or replacement of any Toyota component defective in materials or workmanship under normal operation and use. A Quality Repair Guarantee is provided on all authorised repairs for the period of the policy.
Factory Approved Extended Warranty Insurance also includes additional benefits such as towing, accommodation and hire car expenses and Toyota Insurance excess reimbursement, with a choice of 1, 2 and 3 year coverage options, capped at 100,000kms or 150,000kms+.
This product is designed to protect you if you purchase a new Toyota vehicle, or already own a Toyota still within the new vehicle warranty. If you have a used or non-Toyota vehicle we have other warranty options designed specifically for these needs.
Extended Warranty Insurance - non Toyota vehicles
Even if your vehicle is not a Toyota you can still extend your manufacturer's new vehicle warranty for up to 3 years with our Extended Warranty Insurance policy. The Toyota Insurance Extended Warranty policy can be purchased on vehicles up to 3 years old which have travelled less than 90,000kms.
Outlined below are the two types of finance-related insurance we offer.
Finance Gap Insurance
If your new vehicle becomes a total loss, there may be a 'gap' between the amount your comprehensive insurer pays you and the outstanding balance on your vehicle finance contract. You may also incur extra costs associated with the purchase of your replacement vehicle.
In these circumstances, Finance Gap Insurance helps to protect you from significant financial loss and personal inconvenience.
Payment Protection Insurance
Being off work due to serious illness, accidental injury or following involuntary unemployment can be a daunting experience. Toyota Payment Protection Insurance has been designed to help protect you in unforeseen and difficult circumstances.
We offer 4 cover options :
Option 1: Loan Payout Insurance - Life cover
Option 2: Payment Protection Insurance - Illness & Injury cover
Option 3: Payment Protection Insurance - Involuntary Unemployment cover*
Option 4: You may choose a combination of or all of the above insurances

There are two levels of cover available, providing one of the most professional, reliable and technologically advanced assistance networks in Australia.
You can choose between a 'Basic' plan that provides all the standard roadside services, or the 'Plus' plan, which provides additional benefits such as accommodation for up to two nights, and a rental car for up to 5 days, should you break down more than 100 km from home for longer than 24 hours.
